Silverco MiningTSXV: SICO / OTCQB: SICOF

Silverco's project economics are promising. Shareholder cash flow is not yet proven.

An operating mine and a planned restart offer a near-term growth story. The published project NPV is a useful starting point, not a price target for the stock.

Executive summary

An attractive operating plan, with critical execution and resource-confidence gaps.

Silverco has two relevant assets and a preliminary La Negra study with significant upside scenarios. But stable cash generation after investment, the restart schedule and the absence of declared reserves limit confidence. Our position is WATCHLIST pending additional evidence.

01

An operating asset exists

In the 43 days of Q2 ownership, La Negra generated C$10.4 million in revenue but just C$375,000 in mine operating earnings. [1]

02

The project study looks attractive

La Negra's PEA estimates US$329 million after-tax project NPV at a 5% discount rate using a multimetal deck with US$50 silver. [2]

03

It is still preliminary

La Negra has no declared Mineral Reserves. The mine plan includes Inferred material, and Cusi's restart has not yet established recurring company-level free cash flow. [2][3]

02

Financial evidence

La Negra: management's preliminary project economics

After-tax project NPV5, US$ millions; three multimetal price decks (silver shown as the headline reference).

How to read this exhibit. These cases also change copper, lead and zinc assumptions. They are neither observed silver prices nor independently reviewed intrinsic values, equity values or share-price targets. The PEA is preliminary and uses a 5% discount rate. Source [2].

Business reality

What has to happen operationally

Production milestones are useful only when linked to payable output and cash after reinvestment.

For context, the reported July resource inventory contains 15.23 million tonnes Indicated and 2.26 million tonnes Inferred. This is a resource inventory, not a mine plan or proof of economic extraction. The shareholder model must also incorporate capex, corporate costs, debt, dilution, working capital and the time to production. [2]

Decision framework

What would change the assessment?

01

Show a successful Cusi restart

Verify first concentrate, recovery, sales and sustained operating performance.

02

Deliver La Negra's planned upgrades

Check throughput, tailings execution and cost to reach the proposed operating rate.

03

Prove owner-level free cash flow

Reconcile a supported mine plan and all cash obligations into value per diluted share.

Most important risk

Preliminary technical assumptions, no Mineral Reserves at La Negra, commissioning and ramp risk, and additional financing could materially reduce realized returns.

No published intrinsic value or buy-under price yet. The required supported annual cash-flow schedule, fully diluted equity bridge and independent valuation review have not cleared the publication gate. These are research ideas, not current buy recommendations.
