The short version
Mispriced Miners is a personal research publication run by Jon Binder. The only personal information it intentionally collects is the email address you give when you subscribe. It is used to send you research emails and nothing else. You can unsubscribe at any time, and you will not be sold anything or have your data sold.
What is collected
- Email address — when you submit the subscribe form.
- Subscription activity — standard email engagement (for example, whether an email was opened or a link clicked), handled by the email provider described below.
- Basic technical data — like any website, the hosting platform may process standard server and request information to serve and secure the site.
Email service provider
Email subscriptions and delivery are handled by Kit (also known as ConvertKit), a third-party email marketing platform. When you subscribe, your email address is stored by Kit on our behalf, and Kit sends a confirmation email to verify your request (double opt-in). Your use of the list is also subject to Kit's own privacy practices. We do not send email from, or store your address in, any other marketing system.
Website hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process standard technical information (such as IP address and request metadata) to deliver and protect the site.
Cookies and analytics
The site itself does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party advertising trackers. If privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics are enabled to understand traffic, they are configured to avoid collecting personally identifying information. The email provider's scripts used to power the subscribe form may set functional cookies needed for the form to work.
How your information is used
- To send you the research emails you subscribed to.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and the email list.
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable.
Your email address is never sold, rented, or shared for others' marketing.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
- Access, correct, or delete your information by request (see Contact).
